Sentence Structure

Sentence: 我爱你(wǒ ài nǐ)。

Vocabulary:

  • 我wǒ: I
  • 爱ài: to love
  • 你nǐ: you

Language point: Basic sentence order

  • The basic Chinese sentence order is similiar to the English order.
  • Subject + Verb + Object.

HSK tips:

Q: Shall I learn characters for HSK exam?

A: HSK1-HSK2 are presented in both pinyin and characters. But for HSK3 above exams, there is no pinyin. So if you would like to take a higher level HSK exam, yes, you should start learning characters.
